We are looking for a Procurement & Logistics Specialist to help manage purchasing and delivery of items and services for events. This person will work with suppliers, follow the purchase steps, and make sure items arrive on time and with the right cost.
02 Responsibilities
Follow the full purchasing process: ask for offers, compare prices, negotiate, and make the order.
Work with project teams to understand what they need.
Find and deal with trusted suppliers.
Use online platforms (like Daftra) to create and follow up on purchase orders.
Track delivery and make sure items arrive on time and in good condition.
Suggest ways to reduce costs and improve delivery.
Help in preparing basic reports for management.
Communicate with government platforms (like Etimad, Balady, GEA) if needed.
Can act as a runner to collect items or documents if needed for urgent matters.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
3–5 years in procurement or logistics.
Experience in events or project supply is a plus.
Education & Certificates:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
Certifications like CIPS, CSCP, or PMP are a plus.
Technical Skills:
Good with Microsoft Excel and online purchase systems.
Experience with Daftra is preferred.
Able to check costs and follow up with suppliers.
Soft Skills:
Strong in communication, organization, and time management.
Can work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Good at follow-up and solving problems.
Languages:
Arabic and English – must be good in both speaking and writing.
