We are seeking an experienced and strategic PMO (Project Management Office) Team Lead to build and lead the project management function within 4EVENTS. The ideal candidate will play a key role in standardizing project delivery practices, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring successful execution of key company projects. The role requires both leadership and hands-on delivery capabilities, with a strong foundation in engineering and formal project management training.
02 Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Establish, lead, and scale the PMO function in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Attract, hire, and manage a qualified team of PMO Officers, ensuring high performance and alignment with project delivery standards.
Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of projects across departments to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Develop and enforce project management methodologies, tools, and templates.
Ensure clear communication with internal stakeholders and leadership on project progress, risks, and milestones.
Utilize Monday.com to manage workflows, track progress, and report on project health and KPIs.
Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies as needed, acting as Scrum Master when applicable.
Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement in project delivery.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of total experience in project management.
At least 3 years in a PMO leadership or Scrum Master role.
Proven ability to build and lead project teams, including hiring and managing PMO Officers.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred; other relevant fields will be considered.
Formal certification or proven competence in project management communication and methodologies (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) is a strong advantage.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Monday.com for project tracking, task delegation, and workflow optimization.
Strong command of project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Advanced skills in MS Office, Gantt charts, and project reporting tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, mentoring, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a structured approach to planning and execution.
Language:
Fluency in English is required. Arabic is an asset.
